The BORNIT® Flexomat 3.1 is used to process cold liquid, sprayable and solvent-free bitumen emulsions. A 56.9 litre compressed air tank serves as the supply container, which is filled with the corresponding BORNIT® material. Compressed air is supplied at max. 4 bar, which is generated by a compressor, which is driven by a 4-stroke Honda petrol engine. The BORNIT® Flexomat 3.1 is available as a basic unit. By attaching the 3 different modules (Joint Module, Crack Module, Edge Module), 4 different areas of application can be handled with one device.
Joint Module:
- centre seam treatment of the surface layer during the strip-by-strip construction of rolled asphalt surfaces
Edge Module:
- seam treatment of the load-bearing and binder course during the strip-by-strip construction of rolled asphalt surfaces
- sealing of higher edge (load-bearing, binder and surface course) in asphalt surfaces
Crack Module:
- fast and secure rehabilitation and closure of cracks in asphalt
